Solar Energy is a scam through and through.

That said, it actually produces power without requiring being on the grid, so this is probably the way forward. It's worth gypping yourself bigly to have electricity when the alternative is not having electricity, since the power grid is run increasingly people who never invented electricity on their own.

Humorously, the liberals might actually have some science on their side about solar panels causing localized warming.
