Then goes on to not explain how.

I clicked the link to the Examiner but it only took me to that home page.

It's here:

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0277953621000733

But maybe you just don't want to see it. While the "study" is good for some laughs at the beginning, the more you read, the more you realize that mankind is lost and needs a reset the sooner the better.

Wow, you are right. It is hard to know where to even begin with this. I will start by saying the whole study is pointless because it assumes blacks would use the money in ways that would improve their situation long term. If they were able to delay gratification they wouldn't need help in the first place.

We all know what would happen. (youtu.be)

I've snipped what I think are the key points below incase anyone wants the TL;DR version.

greater overcrowding, concentration in frontline work, and hyperincarceration led directly to greater exposure and transmission among Black people.

monetary payments in the amount of $250,000 per individual or $800,000 per household

wealth redistribution would decrease the ability of affluent whites to cloister themselves in a setting of relative exclusivity.57

reducing ci→j significantly for Black people by decreasing overcrowded housing (this also has the benefit of improving an individual’s ability to social distance once stay-at-home orders are enacted);

reducing βw→b as Black individuals would not be forced as frequently into high-risk frontline work—with both attendant exposure and psychosocial stress;

decreasing τ slightly on account of people’s ability to access preventive modalities like masks, hand sanitizer, etc.
