If a company were to be caught providing a dangerous product to the public, a product they produced under shady circumstances and marketed to a fear soaked public and began making billions on....such a company would find that ALL of their products suddenly became very unpopular. Their workers and managers and prominent marketeers would find life very difficult and the company would rapidly lose value, possibly to the extent that they went out of business if the scandal were large enough.
