As I said on other posts, at least twenty years ago the Leftists and PC Nannyites infiltrated the forestry service, nixed controlled burns, harvesting dead trees, clearing the brush and undergrowth, etc. Result is pretty much any fire now is an out-of-control fire. No laser satellites required to start the fire.
