I don't see any relationship between the article and your title. He canceled a finite number of shows while recovering from the tequila virus. That's not a passive "canceled" by others.

So my assumption these days is that anything that says "Tested positive for..." but not "Is sick with..." or "Hospitalized because of..." is politically motivated and not medically motivated. We KNOW that "Tests positive for COVID" is a total sham. If they really wanted to film someone would have said "Woah, hold on now... we have a bunch of $$$ ridding on this. What was the cycle count on that PCR test?" But no, Chappelle got swabed up the nose and then they canceled everything and sent him home.
