For years I have heard about "blue flu", that cops would duck out if asked to do illegal acts against the citizens. I have seen that blue flu exists, but it is only catching for ridiculous and petty things, like cops wanting more overtime pay or an even cozier pension (which is irrelevant as pretty much 100% of all government pension plans are underfunded).
