Getting close for sure
I used to live in NJ, in Central area. This is how it works there. You do something completely legal, say get a dumpster to clean out your house. The neighbors see the dumpster and call the cops. Cops come by and KNOW that the neighbors are being whiny pissants, but tell you you have 5 days to remove dumpster. Tell them politely to go fuck themselves because it is MY property, and MY fucking dumpster. They come back and say they can put a lien on the house if you dont comply and throw your ass in jail for up to 24 hours without charge. Remove dumpster after being threatened with jail and a lien against your house. Neighbors go on to get a fucking dumpster for their own house, and get around the rules because they are friends with the police chief.
At that point, since laws don't matter, you can just break your neighbor's legs next time they pull something like that
North jersey..........dont mow your lawn,neighbors complain ....town comes out leaves a notice on door mow in 7 days or town comes out ...charges you 60 dollars..... dont pay you get a court date....contest and its possible 30days and fine. Merica
