Was gonna say most likely both as well. NJ cops are in a breed of their own. There used to be a joke, allthough not really a joke, that if a cop was in trouble, you just drive along. The reason being that if you unload on a criminal who is assaulting a cop and do not have a CCW you have now committed a statutory felony, and the cop WILL throw your ass in jail. This is the type of contempt and hatred your dealing with in Jersey from the politicians and LEOs.

For years I have heard about "blue flu", that cops would duck out if asked to do illegal acts against the citizens.

I have seen that blue flu exists, but it is only catching for ridiculous and petty things, like cops wanting more overtime pay or an even cozier pension (which is irrelevant as pretty much 100% of all government pension plans are underfunded).
