Missouri (and I've heard a rumor that Montana did also) has already told the BATF to take a hike under threat of arrest if they harass their citizens or attempt to take any action against them. It wouldn't even take a confederacy to stand up to the corrupt federal government, just enough states with the balls to do what Missouri has already done, throw them out and deny them jurisdiction. The whole federal power grab is really a house of cards, it only works if the states, or the people, allow it.
