I know someone who used them to register a hostname for a custom obituary. They told me how they only planned to host the page for a year in memory, but then godaddy continually harassed them trying to upsell services for their "business", autorenewed the domain multiple times despite clearly having it configured not to and calling to cancel after each time. They did it so much they had to just cancel the order credit card. Really pissed them off given the context of the domain. They're stories scared me away from ever using them.
