I hope that after they do this, other companies which rely on AWS will start to look for alternative providers, because if they can do this to one company, they can do it to yours. All it will take is for one of your employees to say something the left-wing mob does not agree with, or for your company to be seen to be too slow in joining the fray, and you'll face the same punishment.

This is a signal to all companies using AWS that Amazon does not intend to be a neutral hosting provider - not that they really were before.
