They think they will unify the country. After 4 years of calling Trump supporters half wits, dimwits and thugs, there will not be unity because they declare it .We voted for him and they tried to negate our choice for 4 years. There will be no unity for at least the next 4 years. Even now, every propaganda news channel is trying to incite a civil war under the cloak of "Trump incited them to riot". UNITY NEVER !!!

There's going to be a massive power vacuum on the right.

There's a lot of people that lean right who don't consider themselves Republicans. The GOP no longer represents conservative Americans, and without drastic change, they're going to lose a lot more elections in the coming years.

Right leaning Americans are going to either fall to apathy, or someone is going to fill that void.

Trump never truly represented a lot of those values people were looking for. He was the flex tape on the crack in the dam. The inevitable was only slowed.
