I think it should be a lottery system to get into congress or senate. We’re entrusted with jury duty and pretend voting but can’t figure out how best to run our own country and the needs of our people? Our bills would be 1 page long, to the point and not open to interpretation like the left tries to do constantly lol.
bureaucrats at every level should also be limited to five years of service, nobody needs to be in government long then that and also collect a pension.
Break up the establishment.
Representatives and Senators should be a voluntary part-time position.....no gibs except for travel. Turn part of the Capitol into a dorm and let them bunk there. They can pay their own meals. Even if you are home you eat.....shouldn't have to give them $$$ for that. No booze tabs. Turn in a slip at the end of the session for accounting to peruse and approve payment. Volunteers can only serve 1 term. No dual citizenship and only native citizens. It was never intended to be a full time job. They need to be employed back in their home state. As far as election, will have to work out something simple. No expensive ads. Townhall type debates to pick candidates. Then vote.
- I can dream........

I already worked that part out, the lottery system televised on live TV, you get one ticket for $10, those are the funds you live on for your term as a politician, that’s it besides your other job.
The capitol should be moved to the middle of the United States so people can access it and protest without having to drive for four days. No lobbyists, a few reporters, everything live streamed, bills that are concise and to the point and can’t be interrupted 50 years from now as something else we don’t need a 5000+ bill and that’s it. Even the Declaration of Independence and bill of rights only took a few pages and that was to form an entire country and government.
And bureaucrats can serve for 5 years maximum.
I agree with everything else. I’d be a little more restrictive on who can be chosen but that’s about it.
