A hostile approach towards the security guard/whatever that was would be more realistic, I bet they're not paid that much and would be forced to leave, even just people blocking the authorities from pulling someone off out of spite would be better than nothing.
The problem is everyone just sat and complained in their seat, even if 10% of them lost their shit everyone from the airlines to security theatre employees and the commie who complained would reconsider their choices.
