Over time, many people wake up, and Rowan Atkinson appears to be one of this kind. He advocates enhanced free speech in an eloquent manner during a time of increased repression. Very reminiscent of the title character in the book, 1984. Insiders are the first to be exposed to the nonsense. Few stand up. Rowan is a good man.

Great point. For all the derision cancel culture gets from those on this side of the fence, they are very quick and final in casting out any who don’t toe the line 100%.

I like Rowan too. I don’t know what the fuck his ancestry is — cant be all english and I fear the WORST. Also he was married to an indian. So he’s one of those civic nationalist “legal immigration” types: “We’re all the same but let’s not get carried away!”

I believe he is passionately anti-christian or anti-religion — a Chris Hitchens type I guess. His brother is a very euro-skeptic economist.

So, not all bad. Not all good. Im smelling libertarian.

I think he is a comedic genius. The Mr. Bean stuff is meh, but BA is some of the funniest stuff ever.
