I thought that was known for a little while now? That they descended from khazars, but jews didn't like it since it went against their narrative and made genealogy sites change their findings. I even have a book written by a jew called The Thriteenth Tribe (haven't read it yet) that talks about jews being descended from kazars.

Reminder, Israel forces you to get a blood test to prove you are of this ancestry before you can even be approved of citizenship for Israel. Meaning those from outside the tribe that become Jew's will be left outside.
