A breakdown from what I understand from the preliminary investigation: Premium grain-free dry food diets have a higher concentration of legumes when compared to dry food that contains grain-based filler like corn and wheat. It may be that the high concentration of legumes are blocking some dog's ability to naturally produce taurine, which may lead to heart issues. Nothing has really been confirmed at this point yet..
