working for me still...there are rumors that there is a kill switch in latest versions of flash that will go into effect early this month (edit: the 12th), but we'll have to wait and see for that...

browsers are what are going to kill off flash as they will no longer allow its use, the only alternative I can think of is Palemoon which will continue to support use of flash...only other option is to not update your browser

There are a few stand-alone flash players still available if you look for them. I always saw flash in browsers as a security risk, but the good stand alone players ignore the embedded links and other shenanigans used by the script kiddies. Some flash to other format converters available as well, if you want to archive some of the better flash videos for yourself more efficiently.

Jobs may have wanted to kill flash for his own profit, but in the end we just ended up with much more efficient formats than flash, the market will always find a way around these money-grubbing assholes. Flash was already dying a natural death due to improved formats, this whole "flash is dead" thing is just a side show that makes no sense to me.
