I have a yamaha v50 which was a late 80s work station based on the dx series. Man when I had the splits and layers programmed, it was like having four keyboards in the space of one. We would play "Lips Like Sugar" and people would be like how the hell does a four piece band pull that off. I only tried using the seguencer live once on "Enjoy the Silence" but after that I was like Fuck it.... I'll do it live.
That's pretty cool. From your user name I reckon you were swimming in poontang with that sweet V50 layering played live. Everyone knows the keyboard player gets all the chicks because they really know how to use their fingers.
