"Gov. Gavin Newsom made the announcement during a Facebook Live event with Dr. Anthony Fauci on Wednesday.
"Just an hour or so ago, we were informed that this new variant, this new strain that we have identified, obviously from the United Kingdom ... has been identified here in the state of California, in Southern California," Newsom said."
"Fauci responded with nonchalance, stating that he expects the new strain will spread more widely in the coming days and weeks..."
How convenient that a " new" mutation has made it into the U.S. just in time for the grand finale of the contested election.
Reportedly, this mutation spreads almost three times more quickly than the original strain.
As of December 3rd, California restaurants have been completely shuttered, salons are closed once again, and all private gatherings outside one's household are illegal!
So, I'm wondering ... What will they close down next? Will grocery stores close down like they did in New Mexico over positive cases? What businesses will be deemed unessential next?
And most importantly, will those of us still here be locked in state unable to leave?
