Went hiking in Palm Springs on reservation land. At the trailhead was an office where you would pay to access the trail. I was willing to pay but no one was at the window. I could hear at least 2 people talking inside but no one wanted my money. Went hiking anyway and had a great time. As I came back to the trailhead there was a park ranger standing at the entrance. He tells me I'm not allowed to hike because no one is taking money. I just walked by him and said maybe you should collect money instead of hiding inside.
