A true anarchist would not be down with riots or violence. Why so many people think anarchy means chaos and destruction just shows how brainwashed and stupid they are.

Yeah, sure. That must be that. People are "brainwashed and stupid".

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anarchy

>Anarchy is the state of a society being freely constituted without authorities or a governing body. It may also refer to a society or group of people that entirely rejects a set hierarchy.[1] Anarchy was first used in 1539, meaning "an absence of government".[2] Pierre-Joseph Proudhon adopted anarchy and anarchist in his 1840 treatise What Is Property? to refer to anarchism,[3][4] a new political philosophy and social movement which advocates stateless societies based on free and voluntary associations. Anarchists seek a system based on the abolishment of all unjustified, coercitive hierarchy and the creation of system of direct democracy and worker cooperatives.[5][6]

Then what could possibly go wrong?

>In practical terms, anarchy can refer to the curtailment or abolition of traditional forms of government and institutions. It can also designate a nation or any inhabited place that has no system of government or central rule. Anarchy is primarily advocated by individual anarchists who propose replacing government with voluntary institutions. These true institutions or associations generally are modeled on nature since they can represent concepts such as community and economic self-reliance, interdependence, or individualism. Although anarchy is often negatively used as a synonym of chaos or societal collapse, this is not the meaning that anarchists attribute to anarchy, a society without hierarchies.[1] Proudhon wrote that anarchy is "Not the Daughter But the Mother of Order".[7]

Simply put, anarchy is the natural state of society post collapse.... That's how you get anarchy to begin with, regardless of what anarchists think about it. That's just a fact.

And the biggest flaw of it all, is that anarchy requires the vast majority to be reasonable and of good faith to be viable.... Good luck with that.

Anarchy simply means no central/federal government running things. That is it. There is nothing that states that it has to lead to chaos. In Africa it would of course. I think some white countries could handle it. There can still be a community and rules and laws, just not from a government.

A post collapse society can still have authority figures acting as government, which would then mean it isn't anarchy.

I think you have proved you're one of the brainwashed and stupid ones. Read the last jewpedia entry you sent. "Although anarchy is often negatively used as a synonym of chaos or societal collapse, this is not the meaning that anarchists attribute to anarchy, a society without hierarchies.[1] Proudhon wrote that anarchy is "Not the Daughter But the Mother of Order".[7]"

Of course there's nothing in the "anarchist's user manual" that states that it has to lead to chaos.

It's just going to lead to chaos, because human nature, because a few reasonable people aside, it's going to be everybody for himself and might is right. That's why anarchy is yet another utopia. It eventually works for a dozen of hippie monks on a remote island and that's about it. At the scale of a nation it's suicide, more organized groups such as your typical fascists will takeover

You have just proved you know nothing about reality, human nature, how about that?
