i havent seen that video but know the story for sure. how the *fuck* did no one see this coming. the tl;dr of this entire tale is between boeing, the faa, and not only not building a new plane, but not even building a flyable update of an old plane so they can even *pretend* they have just updated an old plane. we now have a massive fleet of computer controlled barely flying bricks all over the world.
