Very cool of him.

Texas Roadhouse is actually a very good restaurant chain. I've never had a bad meal there.

I got to eat at one a few days before they shut them down in the state.

I've had the same experience. Food, service, always good.

It was sad because their staff were outside holding signs telling people they were open. Basically, Boise closed dine-in early. This was right on the border with Meridian and many people thought it was in Boise and thus closed. There were about four staff holding signs out near the road, then four holding the door open for us when we went in.

I'd really hate to see them go under and for all of them to lose their jobs.

I'm sure the chain will survive, but it has to be causing a hardship for the employees. This shutdown is killing people in the entertainment and service industries.

Me neither, and when this stupid shit is over I will frequent them more often.
