Let pricing work. The masks will get dehorded if you do that. Price restrictions lead to hording. No one will sell after they buy too many because they can't sell it at the price they feel comfortable selling them at. They can't attempt to without cops responding to the listing. They will literally go to jail if they try to sell them. That's why you won't get them back. Until you allow them to be sold without risk to those who horded you will not get those masks released back into the market. If you do prices will go down sharply. They will sky rocket for a day or two and then stabilize back to normal. Every horder will want to sell theirs now before they have to sell them at the post horde price. To do that they need to be the first to sell them. To do that they need to lower their prices below the other guy. So it will start high at $100 dollars a mask and these people will hand them over so fast trying to make that but most of them won't. If we had just taught economics more uniformly in our society we would have survived this.
