Glad I'm not the only one that notices what you stated here. I started getting a sense of this about 6 months ago with their strike. I am trying to figure out what is going on specifically, but my instincts tell me it has to do with a deal with LPC to get government money as long as they play along with the act. The recent derailments seem like a strange coincidence as well.
There seems to be a desire to shut down and disrupt all services, especially to the prairies. I suspect the end game is the LPC wants to use this manufactured event to clamp down on free movement, free expression, and possibly be partly an impetus to push electronic currency for "national security."

It's not directly related, but there is a push for that as well. I think this C- level group of actors that resides as our government will try and rope this in together.
