"her" means the school nurse? NO GOD NO. If you ever have 16 y.o daughter and go with her to gynecologist, first you hear is "please leave the room". Shes a young woman already responsible for her sexuality and parent or not - you have precisely ZERO to say or, in that matter, to know. She did it in the school or she could do it at any doctor privately - she chose the school. Thats it. Could the girl talk to parents? Of course but for some reason she decided not to. Her right.

Minor doesn't have free speech in school but has this freedom? We can trust them to make this choice but not what to say? That doesn't make sense. Can't trust what they keep in their locker but sex is A okay. Something seems off to me.

I hope you are not blaming me for the current state of affairs? As stupid as it is, in the US the boy can lgeally join army and kill or get killed, yet still is not allowed to buy the beer. This is really not my fault and as a Russian myself - Im quite shocked. But again, thats not because of our meddling :) 16 y.o can also drive a car in the US I think? Well then - it's way more challenging than having sex IMHO. And regarding free speech in school - well, I have nothing to say

Obvious(to me at least) I'm not blaming any single individual for the state of affairs in the US currently. Its been a slow progression of the erosion of rights. I also don't think its unique to the US either although I can't say I personally have lived anywhere else.

My point in the whole thing is we in the west seem to like to pick and choose what rights we think people should have arbitrarily. Common sense doesn't seem to be a factor.
