Melt the Vatican gold, and hand it out to the poor. Tax the real estate of the church at fair value. Tax the businesses owned by the church as businesses. Tax the junkets church employees enjoy for free. Then we may be closer to proper redistribution of wealth. Or we will at least be free from papal hypocrisy.
