OK, I'll agree this lady deserves some pain if a court of law determines her to be unequivocally guilty, but what I find more sickening than this abuse, is the comments;

I have noticed that since this home- schooling trends caught on about 1 years ago, we are now seeing more of this type of child abuse & neglect taking place. One big reason is because there is no outside agency monitoring the families. If they have children in regular schools then someone is bound to notice change in behavior, weight loss, physical marks on the body,etc.. but being isolated at home allows for this abuse to go on for extended periods of time without anyone noticing. At least tighten the regulations governing HOME SCHOOLING and require random periodic, inspections. This's will make it harder to cover up such neglect and someone will have authority to determine where the children need to be.

That Girl, Minneapolis MN USA, United States, about 12 hours ago I really think that if you chose to home-school your kids, there needs to be a monthly visit from a government agency; CPS or someone needs to make sure all is right in the home. Kids need social interaction. I went to a private school and once a year the home-schooled kids would come in for the required state tests and those kids were all "weird". Just not quite right; lack of social contact and peer-to-peer interaction had made them a little "off".

Wow, perhaps if any of them were home schooled they wouldnt be so ignorant. Thats the thing they focus on, 1 out of every googol families this happens in and this is their response.. Methane breathing back births, the lot of them.
