The 2nd amendment is not a right to protect yourself. It is about the war capacity of the citizenry. When you forget that you end up with tasers instead of mg42s. One of these is a tool of war. One of these is not. One of these is protected under the 2nd amendment when properly interpreted. One of them is not.

Interesting proposal to have counties change states.

How long would it take for those counties to vote in the change? Do you know the details of what is required for them to do this if the counties voted (assuming they are adjacent)?

I looked earlier and it doesn't look like there is any precedent for it.
