I read somewhere that they have something like a 1600X higher likelihood of dying of all causes, mostly suicide. Something like 50% mortality rate, just for being transgendered. I would venture to say that there is something going on there, mentally.

Which pushes the issue that maybe we, as a society, should focus on getting them help for their condition instead of fucking them up even more. I wonder how many docs run FULL endocrine panels on them and try HRT for their biological sex instead of their perceived gender.
