How convenient "climate change". The decay of our infrastructure surely couldn't be explained by corrupt politicians that exported Americas manufacturing for kickbacks to other countries. Surely it's not corrupt individuals that led us on a road to ruin. Whether we like it or like we have the same political class for generations even stemming centuries.

Did you know Bush Sr. was present at the Kennedy assassination? He was on the secret service detail. I don't think he was involved in the assassination. I'm just saying it's the same players in these political circles whether we like it or not. The political class is separate from most of society. Without looking back any further the bush family has held positions of influence for more than half a century and it will continue. 2016 was a choice that would have resulted in 4/5 of our last presidents being a Bush or a Clinton before Trump came along. I'm sorry, smells a little like a shared monarchy to me.

Why spend money on the people that pay taxes when tptb can waste it on;

Classified spending has edged up faster than overall defense budget requests, and accounts for nearly 11 percent of the $716 billion proposed for 2020.

Yes we spend too much on defense. You're ignoring it's the same shit. We play world police to create situations where corporations make money rebuilding the shit we blew up. See Haliburton, Bush, etc. They want perpetual war to create endless profits.. (Why everyone's losing their mind b/c Trump withdrew 50... yes you read that right 50 troops from Syria). Literally just cannon fodder standing there as justification for a larger war.

You're acting like we're only being exploited one way. The question isn't how else that money should be spent but who is necessitating it's spent the way it is.

Amazing the number of anti war in middle east liberals and conservatives changed their tune when trump withdrew. One of AOC's platforms for running for senate was withdrawing from the middle east... I respected that, but now that Trump has done it she's screaming betrayal of allies and kurdish genocide nonsense.

You're worried about military spending. You should be worrying about the reasons those who approve these budgets do. Senators don't spend or guide your tax money towards shit for free. Lobbyists make sure of that. Until you make lobbying govt on behalf of business interest an illegal practice akin to a bribe (which it literally is) and start hanging traitors (which nearly all of them certainly are) you aint solving shit.

You're just playing the 2 party system shit sandwich game... Your choices are shit sandwich or shit sandwich with pickles. I hope you like pickles.
