That sounds like DARPA attempting to write off 'shell shock' as nothing more than concussions.

Concussions certainly aren't good for the brain, but there has to be something more to war-gained PTSD than a just a simple series of concussions.

If PTSD were nothing more than a series of concussions, I would expect nearly every college football player in the US to have it by mid-November.

I think attempting to simplify PTSD to a series of concussive blasts negates all other potential causes, like soldiers questioning why they are engaged violence in the first place.
