You can convince the people you know who do give money to them to drop their subscriptions. That's even better than just not giving them your money.

Already done. The only people I once knew who probably have Netflix still are the ones who stopped talking to me because I wouldn't get the COVID jab.

That's what my wife and I have done. Besides, my oldest son created his own streaming service for our family using Emby. He puts whatever the family requests on there.
