The problem with making an analog record using a laser engraver is the laser is stepped using an xy gantry, not an analog engraver. Even if the resolution is really high, the playback will have distortions due to the stepped nature of the engraver. Albeit, a normal vinyl engraver has distortions but different due to dragging a cutter through the master stamper. Still cool though.
