Plenty in Missouri, but not the cicadapocalpse that I anticipated based on the hype. The 1998 hatch was much more lively/noisy here.

Yeah 1998 was much more of it. I just wonder if pollution or some other environmental factor is responsible for the lessened impact this year.

They were all over my place in the Southern Ozarks.

Their exoskeletons are stuck all over my pine trees, otherwise I wouldn't have noticed they were here.
