Robotic bird drones aren't real. They went extinct in 1969 and the government created biological birds using dinosaur DNA to replace them so the public wouldn't panic over not being constantly surveilled. These biological birds were given implanted memories to have them believe they are really robotic bird spy drones so they would act more convincing. It clearly worked extremely well.
