Nifty... But there's a minor load even if it's just checking to see if the image is up. If it's proxying it then there's a bandwidth load. If it's not proxying it but instead redirecting then you're still connecting to the host server and it's not protecting you from many identification methods. So again, for something like this, it's not a necessity.
