I see, I need to do so much more research but who has time? That's why we try to rely on scholars that seem trustworthy. But even then... At this point I do believe the modern 'Jews' are descendants of the 12 tribes (or two?) and that they are indeed the children of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob. People here have a hard time hearing that they (jews) are (or were) 'the chosen people.' It's hard because they see how evil they are. As a result, completely, it seems, denying the possibility that they simply were good guys that went bad. Is that not possible? Of course it is. They 'blew' their 'chosen chance' so to speak. Of course, there's so much more to it.
