Hello Investors,

There are many changes afoot in the Mugback world, but we here at the First Bank of Mug are proud to report that in spite of sabotage attempts (more on that later), the Mugback is the strongest it has ever been and there is no reason to doubt the strength of Mugbacks!

Previously, rumors of a cease and desist order against the Mugback exchange have dampened investor certainty in the exchange. Fortunately, the First Bank of Mug has an angel who uncovered that the court order actually only came from one of the 5 justices on the court -- made without any input from the other justices -- and that this corrupt justice is also a founder of a sham, competing currency which shan't be named in this thread. Shame on you, @Owlchemy.

In response, the First Bank of Mug has put together a crack legal team, headed by a sophisticated A.I. Minichat Tom needs no introduction. Our other legal team members include: @pol_pot, intern; @starjello, associate to the attorney; and @JoeKerr and @Krier55, attorneys. We've paid each of them a fabulous signing bonus -- a whopping 50k for JoeKerr and 38.5k for Krierr55 (since our records indicate you are a wimminz) -- which is great news since all of this newly created wealth is bound to trickle down to the rest of you lot.

Legal team, get ready, for soon we will use every avenue available to lift the illegitimate cease and desist and forever change the /s/theCourtofMug to be more fair to bankers. Anyone else who wants to join in on this effort just let me know your credentials and we'll consider adding you.

As you all know, one Mugback is approximately equal in value to one physical Poal Mug (even though these will deteriorate over time, and can be lost broken or stolen, while Mugbacks are forever). Oh, and to meet growing demand we've also had to print a few more Mugbacks. 500,000 new Mugbacks have been added to the supply (previously 55,300).

Have a wealthy day!

P.S. @Notherefor @Durm You were both paid, but since you're new I thought I'd give you a mention. Now that you are Mugback holders, you should know that for each transfer of wealth, all parties involved must approve the transaction and it's helpful if I'm pinged so I know to update the ledger in the sidebar.
