I did not realize that they edited the Taiwan flag BACK INTO TOM CRUISE JACKET after taking it out. That resulted in it getting banned in China.
Good for Cruise...and nothing about this movie would have happened without his personal approval.

Having watched the movie, there are wayy too any holes for it to be comfortable. Sure if you like action movies with no thought, it works, but when you dig down into the movie, the storyline is trash and it's still woke, just not as woke as all the other movies. They still had diversity n sheeitt, there was this new woman who was never explained where she came from, the assigned mission was openly laughed at as being capable of being done by drones, making the use of a manned plane useless. The plot had so many inconsistencies, it was absolutely insane
Well the original still had diversity what with the black pilot and all.
"Sundown" lol He played a very small part also.. the 80s were a better time.
And Paramount gleefully rubbed their hands together before funneling the money over to Dan “hold her tighter, she’s a fighter” Schneider and the other pedofags at Nickelodeon who will use it to groom children.

Yeah sure. That's true. But at least it shows that if somebody's making a woke movie they're not doing it for financial reasons and it's more ammunition to make people stop making so many damn work movies. A small victory but a hugely symbolic one.
Does anyone consider that we continue to have the "highest grossing film of all time" because the price of cinema tickets continue to rise as the value of money continues to fall?
Same rule to maybe consider when people talk about "oh my god the budget for this film was $500 million!!!" How does that compare to the older films when you adjust for the devaluation of the dollar?
