I was just thinking about how I might skip Dune until the second half is out since it has an emo kid for the lead and trailer was the most wokest “my people” shit I ever heard until I knew it was actually for dune.

Also the director/ producer produced blade Runner 2049 no? Remember how all of the media colluded to try and give false reporting on it and shut it down? Well they’re propping up dune.

I’d like to finish the books before they fuck up my perception of it.

Then it made me think of what they seem to have done with dune would be what they would have done with Star Wars if they remade it. Then I found out, although unthinkable, is only a matter of time.
