Oh boy how this scene was televised..... Totally and completely defeats the liberal narrative that all Indians were "peaceful people".

Different time and place obviously, but somewhat relative: Watch Mel Gibson's Apocalypto and see how Mesoamerican Indian peoples treated each other. Now imagine that occurring in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, hell, anywhere but without pyramids and cities. Tribes near the coasts and mountains had extensive river networks to trade with other tribes and make peace. They tried to avoid conflict. Plains Indians? Killed each other in wholesale droves for resources. When the Spaniards and French brought horses to the northern midwest, entire tribes were erased from human history, as the horseback tribes easily dominated other tribes with faster mobility during conflict and the fact that larger game could be hunted on horseback.
