I hear this a lot from friends still in the military who don’t understand what tactical vs strategic means. Does your CO know you visit this site? I’m sure he does, seriously. Building a dependable supply chain for vital electronic components is strategic. It is one of the most strategic things we haven’t done.
Hearts and minds of bug people? For strategy? They will do as they are told in mass as they always have. Your strategy is flawed because you don’t know the people you’re trying to manipulate.

The strategy for "that" is to give them everything they want and more until they choke on Earth's extinction. Their lack of restraint is our greatest advantage. Their curse is to get everything their ancestors ever hoped for, but in a way they will never profit nor benefit from. If they insist on the world, then with their last breath they will take possession of a dead and worthless rock- but only for the instant that it then melts through their finger tips.

I may not understand what you’re saying, don’t call them out if you don’t feel comfortable, but I’m not sure if you’re referring to the Chin or the jews. I’m assuming the tribe.
They may or may not fail. Our world is suffering, everything given is taken away. I’m not certain we don’t live in a polluted version of reality controlled by evil, I still have faith that they will fail. But it’s up to us.
All I was originally saying was we need to prepare. And that involves being able to make the technology we need to survive. And we can’t do that now.
The "they" is higher up than both of those groups. They are all those committing crimes against humanity and believe they will never be held responsible due to their imagined power, priviledge, and place.
