the army has never been so fickle as it is right now - it has become so polarized it has no idea how to even operate. We used to call the old APFTs 'normalized' as it was exactly that. Min/Max PT scores depended on sex, age and a defined time range. The new way wants to do it by job or MOS, which I agree with, but you cannot simply normalize that, at least not effectively, now can you? I'm glad I served, and learned what I did - my sweat equity has helped me in ways I cannot overtly claim. I am also glad I left that fucking life a long time ago; and the majority I served with all left/retired as well. all I can say now is HONK! HONK!
