In the end it didn't matter. Nothing he did put one single asshole in jail.

It mattered, it showed people the country is run by criminals. People won't go to jail when the justice system is filled with criminals.

The people that watched him already knew, and the ones that don't care will never care, no matter how much evidence you show them.
