We'd have less trash and happier people if everything was made by those standards including raw materials as in food, everything is halfassed and or tainted to diminish it's life and quality. That is like stealing in my book.

We would have a lot less trash, but companies couldn't sell you a new washer every 5 years because the one you bought is made from the lowest quality materials by people who don't understand that aluminum and stainless in an ionic bath results in a sacrificial anode.

Hopefully we'll be able to get the cargo yacht up and running so other can leave as well. Not looking good, hard to find a subatomic particle pump on Earth. The technology doesn't even exist here yet.
