Fuck you Microsoft. I do not want this. Damn near no one wants this. This is a security state wet dream. Fuck. Off.

If you are not moving everything to Linux already you should be. If you don't do much other than stream/read email/search or read the news you won't even notice the difference other than your system working better for many years longer.

Oh, I do not believe you for one second this will actually be turned off by default or wont just randomly enable itself with a update at some point. MS has a record of doing shit like that.

From the post:

>Three months after pulling previews of the controversial Windows Recall feature due to public backlash, Microsoft says it has completely overhauled the security architecture with proof-of-presence encryption, anti-tampering and DLP checks, and screenshot data managed in secure enclaves outside the main operating system. The feature, which uses artificial intelligence to create a searchable digital memory of everything ever done on a Windows computer, will also be turned off by default and fitted with tools to delete it forever from the Windows operating system.

Mickeyshit says that it's encrypted so that not even an admin can see it.

This is such a fucking juicy target that there will be a lot of money spent on finding flaws in this system. What software does, software can undo.

Ignoring software, if the past decade has taught us anything, it's that backdoors are cooked into basically every piece of hardware in a computer. If a firmware opening hasn't already been planted with this specific exploit in mind, I'll fuck a nigger

That's the finding flaws part.

But the software thing is something I read in a tech manual long ago, the author was talking about the illusion of security you get from such things as encryption.

If what you have is valuable enough, someone is going to be willing to spend the money to figure out how to get it.

I'll fuck a nigger

I admire your confidence but whew laddie you're playing with the devil here...
