I don't see why Euronymous is always put on a pedestal. He was a poser who wore sweatervests and shoved dildos in his ass in his free time.
Meanwhile Fenris might be the most based man alive but is glossed over. Choose your weapons choose your direction.
That movie Lords of chaos was basically a "euronymous wasn't gay and Varg is bad" propaganda film. Which makes me very sure that he was, and I have a suspicion that the real reason Varg killed him was because of that (after finding a shit-stained dildo in his drawer)
I only saw the trailer and it looked terrible. I own the book lords of chaos though, and recommend it.
I wouldn't say that was the only reason, but it certainly helped. They were like opposites really.
But guys like Fenris, Gaahl and even Nodtveidt I think have a more interesting and worthwhile story than Euronymous.
