Lol, Yep, i rarely buy many pre-made products at all (zero candy/ chocolate/ convenance foods etc - and the items i do i try to get as fresh/ organic as possible. I use a local quality butchery that has it's own meat supplier, and the fruit and vege store next door also sells free range eggs.
That cost of living tho -multiple items in the supermarket not only gone up by 30-40 % but also became smaller quantity (ie - 9 tenders for $6 are now 6 tenders for $8, or 5 premade wraps for $8-$10 are now 4 wraps for $12 - same packaging and brand just less for more and it's right across the entire store) Prices are out of control in NZ.
